Banner Named a 2025 Best Regional Bank in America

Thank you, Newsweek, for again naming Banner one of the Best Regional Banks in America. In the announcement, Newsweek Global Editor in Chief Nancy Cooper said, “with intimate knowledge of local economies, these banks often form strong bonds with customers, enabling them to better meet their needs.”

“We appreciate independent third-party recognition, especially when it is based on client satisfaction and our financial performance because it further affirms we are delivering outstanding service and value to our clients,” said Mark Grescovich, Banner Bank President & CEO.

Newsweek determined the recipients by partnering with Plant-A Insights Group to analyze all regional banks in the United States on a diverse group of criteria and data. Their methodology utilized the Texas Ratio (a measure of a bank's credit quality) as well as profitability and net loans and leases. They also reviewed press coverage over the past two years. The research team then conducted a large-scale independent customer survey of more than 71,000 U.S. citizens and evaluated 1.9 million social media reviews as well as 129 million Apple App store and Google Play store reviews.
